MedStandard.org, who refurbish and sell used medical equipment, has introduced new services to help medical establishments value and sell their equipment to others in need.

Los Angeles, CA - Medical equipment is essential, highly advanced technology. It is also uniformly extremely expensive. Because North American hospitals need to be run like businesses, this expense can run up against t budget constraints, and establishments sometimes have to do without equipment they desperately need. Med Standard offers an alternative via high quality refurbished used equipment from other hospitals, and they have recently expanded their services to include a relationship-building service enabling hospitals to buy, sell and part exchange with one another, facilitating better care for all.

Med Standard's standard practice is to buy used medical equipment, then sell the refurbished items to a third party. This equipment can include everything from ultrasounds to MRI machines, C-arms to X-ray machines, CT scanners to the simple hospital beds that make care possible. Now however, they have taken things a step further.

The new Med Standard services involve helping medical establishments contact other medical establishments and arrange to buy, sell or trade equipment for appropriate prices, then facilitate the exchange process, including any and all arbitration and administration. The service allows Med Standard to cover every aspect of finding a new home for much needed medical equipment.

A spokesperson for Med Standard explained, "Med Standard is proud to be able to expand our range of services and now with more flexibility in the way we interact with our clients on both sides of the process. We will still continue to take used equipment off the hands of establishments and refurbish them for use by others, but if we can initiate a direct bargain or trade between those who have equipment and those who need it, this is a more streamlined way for all parties to go about things. As such, we will continue to strive to provide the same quality of service whether acting on our own behalf or on behalf of our clients."
