The ClestraClean APS 625 is designed to protect hospital staff and patients by providing effective control of airborne tuberculosis
The ClestraClean APS 625 is designed to protect hospital staff and patients by providing effective control of airborne tuberculosis and other dangerous airborne microcontamination. As air enters the system, large particles are first removed by an ASHRAE pre-filter. The air is then forced through a high-efficiency HEPA filter, capturing even the smallest airborne TB microorganisms as well as other viable and non-viable contaminants. Each HEPA is independently tested to be 99.9% effective at 0.3 microns.

Air approaching the HEPA filter is bathed with high-intensity, germicidal UV light. This ultra-violet radiation changes the DNA structure of TB and other viable microorganisms, thereby destroying them. Organisms that escape the first exposure to UV radiation are captured by the HEPA filter. There, continuous and prolonged exposure to the germicidal light destroys them.

The system circulates 625 cu. ft of air every minute. This high volume transfer completely changes and purifies all the air in a standard room 25+ times every hour. With full or partial exhaust options, the system can deliver a negative pressure balance for isolation applications.
