ALCO Sales & Service, Co., of Burr Ridge, IL in partnership with Omron Healthcare, Inc. has introduced a new program for replacing mercurial blood pressure devices.

As a neurotoxin, Mercury is harmful both by contact and by vapor. The EPA considers Mercury a hazardous waste. ALCO Sales and Omron Healthcare have developed a cost effective means for Hospitals and Health Facilities to replace mercurial blood pressure devices with aneroid blood pressure units.

Simply determine the number of mercurial devices to be replaced. Call ALCO Sales & Service with your replacement order for Omron aneroid blood pressure units at specially reduced pricing. Along with your new units, appropriate, EPS approved, packaging materials will be sent to you. At you convenience, package the mercurial units in the boxes provided, attach the pre-paid, pre-addressed return labels to the boxes and ship them to Omron Healthcare. The old units will be disposed of in an environmentally approved manner at no charge to you, and a Certificate of Disposal will be sent to you upon disposition.
