Amerinet Announces Agreement With Universal Hospital Services, Inc.
Amerinet Inc. announces its agreement with Universal Hospital Services, Inc. (UHS) for rental equipment MME, biomedical services and asset management programs, such as, CHAMP (Community Hospital Asset Management Program).
Effective April 1, 2007, through March 31, 2010, this agreement provides cost-saving opportunities to Amerinet members on UHS's industry-leading fleet of top-quality medical equipment.
UHS's equipment rentals for hospitals and alternative sites include: critical care, minimal invasive surgery, patient monitoring, newborn care, respiratory therapy, infusion therapy, and orthopedics. UHS also offers Biomedical services and an Asset Management program in CHAMPS.
UHS's Community Hospital Asset Management Program (CHAMP) is a biomedical maintenance management program, where UHS technicians perform most or, all of the work. UHS will use unbiased, vendor neutral data and decades of experience to help facilities make better financial and strategic decisions when planning for, acquiring, maintaining and remarketing clinical equipment. CHAMP helps community hospitals reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve the quality of patient care by providing expert consultation and coordination of the entire clinical equipment lifecycle. This contract was the result of a competitive bidding process.
