AnyDoc Software Named 2008 Healthcare ACE Award Winner

AnyDoc Software Inc., a leading provider of automated document and data capture and classification solutions, announced recently that it was recognized as the 2008 Healthcare ACE Award winner, presented by ECM Connection at the 2008 AIIM Exposition & Conference in Boson, Massachusetts, on March 5.

The ECM Connection ACE Awards honor vendors who demonstrate excellence across the board for Appeal, Content and Education in promoting the education and adoption of ECM technologies beyond their overall horizontal offerings. ACE award nominees are judged on their feature-rich product line, information-rich marketing collateral and outstanding outreach programs.

Of the nearly 70 entries, AnyDoc Software was selected as one of three finalists by an ECM Connection committee in both the Healthcare and Government categories.

AnyDoc Software won the healthcare category for their solutions line-up, including AnyDocEOB AnyDocCLAIM and AnyDocPatient Records. AnyDocEOB automatically captures, validates and balances data from Explanation of Benefits forms (EOBs), which serve as remittance documents for the healthcare industry. These documents are generally data-rich, small type font documents that can span hundreds of pages. Users of AnyDocEOB have been able to process nearly 2 million EOBs annually and provide a 24-hour turnaround to clients.

The healthcare line-up also includes AnyDocCLAIM for capturing healthcare claim data and AnyDocPatient Records, which classifies the hundreds of possible document types that can be included within a patient's record, including routing to appropriate departments or directories. By eliminating painful manual processes, AnyDoc solutions allow healthcare organizations to improve productivity and the accuracy of their data, while lowering costs.

In addition to winning the Healthcare ACE Award and being a Government ACE Finalist, AnyDoc received other award honors at the annual AIIM Exp. AnyDoc Software client Allegheny County Controller's Office in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, won the AIIM Best Practices Award in the large enterprise category for their use of OCR for AnyDoc and AnyDocEXCHANGEit, implemented by Pennsylvania-based reseller, IMR Digital. And, AnyDoc Software client Revenue Management Solutions was named 2008 I-Cubed Award Finalist for the use of AnyDoc Software's AnyDocEOB, presented by Integrated Solutions magazine.

This designates the fourth consecutive year AnyDoc has been recognized at the ACE Awards. In 2007, AnyDoc was named a finalist in the Banking and Finance category while 2006 also recognized honors in the Healthcare category. And, 2005 was noted for recognition in the Capture Software Vendor category.
