The Basic Tracheostomy Care Kit is a sterile, single-use tray designed for care of patients who have had tracheostomies. The kit features three rigid basins for cleaning, soaking, and rinsing; one pre-sewn trach dressing; four gauze sponges; three pipe cleaners; and one cleaning brush. Additionally, this kit features three cotton-tipped applicators, one 32-in twill tape, and one plastic forceps. Variable components include a 14 French suction catheter, 10cc syringe, and two latex gloves.
