SafeTrace Tx is a client-server application written in Delphi 3.0 that is designed to provide blood banks and transfusion services with security and flexibility essential for making the most of the information recorded in their systems. It helps minimize equipment investment and supports standard, low-cost hardware platforms. Additionally, the system can provide reliable information access and data integrity and utilizes a relational database. It enables ease of operation by incorporating user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI), and contains added functionality with built-in technology.
The system utilizes a Microsoft Windows-based graphical user interface as the presentation layer. It is takes full advantage of functionality that Windows provides. Some of the advantages are minimizing training; increasing productivity; providing quick reference tabs, at-a-glance bar, and re-sizable grids; last screen tracking; and it allows multi-tasking with access to multiple documents at one time.
