Capstone Radiology And Millcreek Community Hospital Announce Partnership For Imaging Excellence In Northeast Pennsylvania

Capstone Radiology, a leading national radiology management group, is pleased to announce their partnership with MillcreekCommunity Hospital, an osteopathic acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care in Erie, Pennsylvania. The goal of this collaboration is increased imaging quality and efficiency for the patients of northeastern Pennsylvania.
Capstone Radiology, a national radiology management group designed to meet the new demands of leading hospitals and health systems, and Millcreek Community Hospital (MCH), a 145-bed hospital accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, are pleased to announce their partnership to provide top quality point-of-care radiology services to Erie and surrounding cities.
A leader in several services, Millcreek Community Hospital is affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and provides more residency programs than any hospital in the tri-state region. Capstone’s imaging presence will support the comprehensive medical and acute care services at MCH.
Dr. Aldo Ruffolo, CEO and Director of Interventional Radiology at Capstone, believes this will be a very rewarding collaboration. “As a practicing doctor of osteopathy (DO), I am very excited about this partnership. Capstone’s mission is to change the way radiology is delivered across the country. We want to improve imaging for the hospitals and patients we serve, and there is no better way for us to accomplish this goal than to have a partner as committed to education as Millcreek Community Hospital.”
Capstone’s radiology coverage at MCH will be provided by two recognized names within the Erie medical community. Dr. Michael Hauk and Dr. Joseph Nedresky will immediately begin as the full time radiologists at MCH. The goal for Capstone’s presence at MCH is to bring the resources necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of the imaging department, with a greater focus on involvement in the patient care process.
