Chemotherapy treatment uses drugs - given intravenously, by injection or orally - that interfere with cancer cell growth and reproduction. Chemotherapy may be used alone or in conjunction with radiation therapy and other techniques. The Infusion Place of North Texas is Arlington Cancer Center's specially designed, 5,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, ambulatory facility for patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiolabeled immunoglobulin therapy. The Infusion Center provides a safe and cost-effective alternative to hospitalization during the administration of your medications. The Infusion Center is operated seven days a week and is fully staffed by trained and certified nurses with numerous years of experience. The nurses are also compassionate caregivers seasoned in working through the emotional aspects of cancer care.
