Encoder Pro 2001 software employs "smart search" technology that allows users to search all three coding systems (ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS) simultaneously. It also gives users quick access to CCI unbundling edits, Medicare Fee Schedule information, CPT to ICD-9 linkages and other necessary coding information.

The software enables the user to look up coding and billing information, download it into a HCFA 1500 form and print it out for each patient – in half the time. It helps save time, increase productivity, and improve overall coding accuracy.
