Nu-Gel Collagen Wound Gel is a hydrogel containing collagen to provide a moist wound environment and encourage autolytic debridement. The gel is designed for use on pressure ulcers, first and second degree burns, and venous stasis ulcers, as well as secreting dermal lesions and injuries, and superficial wounds and scrapes.
The product helps protect new granulation tissue and promotes natural autolysis by rehydrating and softening necrotic tissue and eschar. It provides viscosity, designed for ease of application, and rinses easily from wounds.
