High Temperature Cauteries

High temperature cauteries combine faster from zero to full temperature, plus a four-year shelf life. They also feature many different tip configurations, and each tip includes a sterile drape to cover the non-sterile handle. The physician can have the flexibility of many different tip configurations, with a single replaceable battery.

Fine tip cauteries are used for hemostasis and for evacuation of a subungal hematoma. Loop tip is a cautery for use when controlling more diffuse bleeders is required. Elongated fine tip cauteries are designed for precise hemostasis of the vas deferens while performing a vasectomy.

The 2-in. flexible shaft loop tip is used for sculpting woven grafts during by-pass surgery or when working in recessed areas. The 5-in. flexible shaft loop tip is for deeply recessed areas, available with a lamp for additional light at the recessed operative site.

Change-A-Tip is a replaceable tip, battery-operated cautery that is reusable. The product is designed for office, emergency room, and clinic procedures.
