The SITZMARKS diagnostic test is ideal for adult patients with severe constipation but otherwise negative GI evaluations. Designed to measure colonic transit time, SITZMARKS allows physicians to determine the most therapeutic option for their patients.

The SITZMARKS radiopaque markers can be used to conduct either a simple test using one capsule and X-raying on day five, or a segmental test in which the patient takes one capsule each day for three days, with X-rays taken on day four and day seven.

The SITZMARKS product is offered in packages of 10 gelatin capsules, each containing 24 pre-cut radiopaque polyvinyl chloride O-rings. Each marker ring measures 1mm x 4.50 mm and is impregnated with barium sulfate.
