Lipid and Cardiac Test System

The Cholestech LDX System is a portable multiple analyte test panel for lipid testing and cardiac risk assessment. It is capable of performing an HDL test from a whole blood fingerstick. The device is CLIA waived and operates in three steps. The sample is collected, then placed into a cassette. The cassette is inserted into the reader and results are available in less than five minutes. Additionally, the device requires approximately one hour training and features applications for total cholesterol, glucose, HDL, triglycerides, LDL, and VLDL.
