The Microvascular Anastomotic Coupler System enables offers microsurgeons a sutureless poly- ethylene/stainless steel coupler (mechanically pinned-rings) that produces a more uniform and reproducible vessel connection (anastomosis) than achieved with sutures. This is especially true in image-guided surgeries, where limited anatomical access exists, and when time is important. They system may be used in plastic & reconstructive, head & neck, neuro, orthopedics, and hand & foot surgery. It allows microsurgeons to do anastomotic surgical procedures 50% to 60% faster and is more dependable than traditional suture and sleeve anastomosis.
