Patient Monitoring Product Suite

The PatientNet is a product suite designed for monitoring patient vital signs and creates a technical infrastructure by integrating software, wireless technology, the Internet, and a real-time network. The system enables hospitals to access vital sign information for hundreds of patients using disparate brands of monitors across multiple locations.

Additionally, the system is designed to be compatible with the new medical telemetry band changes and regulations. The system provides an open and wireless network that is vendor independent and designed to manage patient vital sign information for hundreds of patients. It also creates a single interface between the captured monitored information and the existing health-care information systems using standard HL7 protocols.

Using the PatientBrowser Internet feature of the system, or an array of patient viewing stations located throughout the health system, doctors and nurses can check their patient's current or retrospective status, regardless of where the patient is located. In addition, by implementing a SiteLink connection, remote and affiliate hospitals located miles away can have their patients monitored by certified technicians at the system center in the tertiary facility, which helps to leverage care expertise across the enterprise.
