System 3500H is a remote patient alarm monitoring system designed to identify a change in a patient's status and indicate the change with audible alarms and flashing reverse video displays. Additionally, the system employs a built-in alphanumeric keypad for data entry at a nurses' station command post, and it identifies any change in a patient's ventilator status, from a pressure or volume delivery change to a coughing spasm. The system is also self-auditing, and it can be programmed to monitor a patient's weaning from a respirator. The system is expandable to as many as 2,000 inputs.
