The PatientNet Mission Control Center is an information management hub. All vital signs, collected from wireless transceivers or from other manufacturers' devices by the PatientNet system, are instantly sent to the PatientNet Mission Control Center where trained and certified technicians use Central Stations to oversee monitoring activity for the healthcare enterprise. The mission control-like center standardizes monitoring quality across the enterprise and enables care providers to maintain focus on patient care versus monitoring. If a critical event occurs, technicians use an integrated paging system to instantly page care providers, which improves care efficiencies by reducing the need to respond to false alarms. Additionally, PatientNet Viewers located at nursing stations throughout the health system keep care providers apprised of a patient's monitored status.
