This control provides a simple, cost effective means to validate the processing and centrifugation of urine prior to microscopic analysis in compliance with CLIA regulations. Microscopic evaluation of urine sediment is a moderately complex test and requires daily use of controls. Qualitative and quantitative values are provided for standardized urinalysis systems, the Censlide¨ system and the glass slide and cover slip method. QuanTscopics is a bi-level control containing both red and white stabilized human blood cells and crystals.
