Soft Tissue Surgical Device

The TurboVac ArthroWand is a soft tissue surgical device that is suited for knee and shoulder procedures. The product offers suction capabilities combined with controlled ablation for rapid removal of all types of soft tissue. The suction capabilities attract free-floating, wispy tissue, and the screen electrode configuration prevents clogging and offers increased tissue contact for bulk removal of tissue. Suction tube placement indicates electrode orientation to increase safety when visibility is impaired.

The device removes the ACL stump and tissue on the underside of the acromion, and can attract and ablate the synovium and fatty tissue in the knee. The wand is suited for plica resections and removing bursa.

Additionally, the los profile design fits through most 5.5 mm cannulas and slides smoothly through tissue portals. It features a 90 degree angle and is compatible with the System 2000 only.
