Spiral Plater

The Autoplate 4000 is a microprocessor-controlled spiral plater used for bacterial enumeration by microbiologists and lab personnel. The controller uses plating action to eliminate most serial dilutions by reducing the number of microbes placed along the spiral track. Samples with up to 400,000 cfu/ml can be plated directly without dilution.

The controller plates both 100 and 150 mm plates in eight deposition modes to suit a variety of applications. Cleaning, sample intake, and plating are performed with the push of one key. The Autoplate 4000 is recognized for the following: AOAC official method of analysis: 977.27; NCIMS Approved; APHA method for examination of dairy products; conforms to Good Laboratory Practice guidelines; and CE electrical standards.
