Sporox II is a sterilizing and disinfecting solution for endoscope reprocessing that contains a new corrosion inhibitor, making the solution more compatible with a wider range of heat-sensitive medical devices containing brass and copper. Fast acting sporicide, tuberculocide, fungicide, virucide and bactericide allow for high-level disinfection in 30 min at room temperature and sterilization in 6 h at room temperature. This improved, ready-to-use hydrogen peroxide formula contains no glutaraldehyde, and is compatible with metal, plastics and elastomers such as those found in most flexible endoscopes.
