The Freedom60-FM is a syringe infusion pump that contains a microprocessor based flow monitor that sounds an intermittent audible alarm whenever the flow of the drug is stopped or the infusion has ended. The product employs a constant force mechanism and is pressure limited by design to a pressure of 13.5 psi for patient safety. The device operates in excess of 4,000 cycles, and is electronic with internal batteries designed to last the life of the pump.
