The Aquatic Therapy Pool is a complete isokinetic therapy system designed to bring results to rehabilitation programs. Starting with little or no water resistance in a weight-free environment, patients in initial stages can begin therapy sooner than they normally would with on-land therapies. As patients move to progressive weight-bearing protocols using increasing water resistance, results are achieved and treatment can extend into a full range of training and conditioning.
Water speeds are adjustable with over 40 precise settings up to 6.5 mph. Water return channels, built into the pool's side walls rather than the bottom, double as exercise benches or seats and complement an angled running platform and floor inserts. With the programmable system, flow can be quantified, reproduced, and documented for individual aquatic therapy protocols and insurance documentation. With features available in the pool, the design of treatments can be customized. Models include multiple water depths up to 6 ft to accommodate users of different heights.
