Tustin, CA, - January 10, 2001 - VitalCom Inc. (Nasdaq: VCOM) today announced the successful implementation of the PatientNet Wireless Network(tm) at Valley Baptist Medical Center (VBMC) in Harlingen, TX. The 588-bed hospital can now monitor up to 88 patients on multiple units throughout the facility, as well as in the Emergency Department, all from a central location.
